VINYASA FLOW
Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using the breath. Vinyasa flow offers a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike. The variable nature of Vinyasa Yoga helps to develop a more balanced body as well as prevent repetitive motion injuries that can happen if you are always doing the same thing every day. As a philosophy, Vinyasa recognizes the temporary nature of things. We enter into a posture, are there for a while and then leave. Making this experience on your mat very sacred. Open your heart and mind with this creative sequencing.
YOGALATES
Yogalates is a synergistic class that pulls from the classical techniques of yoga and mat pilates.
This combination boosts endurance, aids flexibility, leans muscles, stimulates blood flow and organ function.
Pilates focuses on deep core muscles and spinal stability.
Generating awareness in these core muscle groups helps students find more control and stability in their yoga poses.
DYNAMIC DEEP STRETCH
This class is designed to release tension, align and create space in the whole body. A slow but deep practice targeting chronically tight areas such as shoulders, back, hips, hamstrings and quads. Deep stretch is an accessible class that everyone needs whether you are an athlete, new to yoga, or an advanced practitioner. Tight muscles can cause imbalance and pull the body out of alignment which can lead to injuries or chronic pain. Recommended for first time yogis, people who spend hours sitting at work, are heavily involved in weight training, endurance sports, repetitive motion sports.
All Classes will have Pranayama Incorporated
Prana means life force or breath sustaining the body; Ayama translates as “to extend or draw out.” Together two mean breath extension or control. When we learn how to control our breath we learn how to control the other systems of the body preparing us for meditation.
