Daphne has been a mover all her life. Drawing from decades of dance training and performance experience, she brings her extensive knowledge of the body, movement, and soul to her teachings.

Daphne is originally from Connellsville, PA. She began dancing at the age of 3 at the local YMCA. Throughout childhood, she was equally invested in competitive figure skating, cheerleading, and driving into the city to take extra ballet classes. She chose to dedicate herself fully to dance, and attended the prestigious Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University (Pittsburgh, PA). Daphne's yoga journey began here with a "Yoga for Dancer's" class where she fell in love with the many benefits of the practice.

She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Dance, and immediately after graduating she set sail dancing on her first cruise ship that paved the way for what's to come.

Daphne has toured the world dancing with Holland America Cruise Lines, performed and toured with iLuminate Dance Company from America's Got Talent, danced in numerous music videos from artists like Mac Miller, Todrick Hall, Royal & the Serpent, etc. Commercial work for UnderArmour Women, Audi, and Snapchat and many more.

In 2013, Daphne moved to Los Angeles. She completed her 200hr YTT certification from Liz Arch founder of Primal Yoga,  25hr Advanced Krama Sequencing from Light on Lotus, 15hr Pre & Post Natal Advanced Training from Light on Lotus, 15hr MDRN YGA with founder Annie Parr, 30hr Anatomy Training with Emilie Perz, and a 10hr Mini Yogi certification from Shana Meyerson. Her teaching style combines her light sense of humor, fluid movement, connection to the breath, with an emphasis on alignment and playfulness. It is with great gratitude and love that I welcome any and all into my yoga practice.

“My purpose in teaching yoga is to help each practitioner connect and feel good in their bodies, and find balance from the inside out. In a world that is constantly shifting and changing, finding the practices that keep you grounded and centered are the most important for your day to day life. When the mind, body, and heart are balanced, aligned, and open we can recognize and begin to live to our fullest potential sharing our gifts with the world.”
